OncoLize has joined forces with a small but highly specialized consortium around the department of Engineered Therapeutics led byprof. dr. Jai Prakashfrom the University of Twente in the Netherlands.

The team aims toswitch ‘cold’ tumors to ‘hot’by stimulating the infiltration of the Tumor Micro Environment with T-Cells that can attack the dense layer of fibroblast cells and eliminate the proliferative tumor cells.

OncoLize will contribute its localized delivery platform to deliver the novel peptides from ScarTech Therapeutics, with or without generic chemo drugs. Prof Prakash’s department will execute the development and testing up to pre-clinical animal trials.

The consortium is backed by a significant grant from theDutch Cancer Foundationcovering the complete 3-year program, next to contributions by both SME’s
