The most direct way of targeting tumors, and still minimally invasive

Dealing with primary tumors or metastasized tumors posing an immediate threat to vital functions can be a major challenge in managing tumor disease and the well-being of your patients. Our injectable drug depots target the tumor in the most direct manner possible: injecting a drug depot inside the tumor mass.

We use thin, image-guided endoscopic needles, catheters or percutaneous needles in the routine setting of the endoscopy room in or interventional radiology suite.

Once injected using endoscopic 1.4 mtr – 19-22G needles, catheters or biopsy needles, our ChemoGell™ liquid products transform within seconds into a firm drug delivery depot. From here on the drug of choice is released via diffusion into the surrounding tumor tissue, and gradually through degradation of the hydrogel depot. Our depots release the drug cargo at very high concentrations over hours to days, while systemic levels outside of the tumor are very low to undetectable.

This direct-targeted intervention can be done in a neo-adjuvant setting; in parallel to Standard-of-care to boost outcome; prior to surgical intervention; in conjunction with radiotherapy; as a precursor to immune-oncology therapies; or to control tumor outgrowth in critical settings.
